The DPW will be flushing hydrants October 30th and 31st. They are working on getting rid of the discoloration in the water. The discoloration is due to seasonal conditions. It usually corrects itself, but we have decided to flush the system to try to get the discoloration removed. This is just natural occurring minerals-primarily iron and manganese in the water. It is safe to continue to use.
